Defibrillator and CPR Training
Our whole staff have received training in the use of our new Defibrillator. Hopefully this is something we will never have to use, but it is reassuring to know that we always have a number of adults on site with these life saving skills. We also received CPR and basic first aid training.
Tesco 'Farm to Fork' Field Trip
Our Primary 5, 6 and 7's visited Tesco's in Newry this week as part of their World Around Us studies. They learned all about the management of the store, all about the bakery, fish, fruit and veg and storage sections. The children got to sample lots of different breads and cheeses and iced and decorated their own cup cakes!
Gosford Park Orienteering
Our Primary 5/6/7's completed an orienteering walk in Gosford Park last week. They were well equipped with all of the latest trekking gear and focussed on their mapping, compass and teamwork skills. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Tea Time in Key Stage Two
Mrs Lavery's class had some tea and biscuits as part of their instructional writing in literacy. They look like they thoroughly enjoyed their lesson!!
